New WordPress version 3.3 bring some important changes for my plugin so I release version 1.5.3 early. Everyone who use WP 3.3 RC2 or later, please test the plugin and report if you find anything wrong.
Additionally some small fixes was included like Network activation and new site ( if you like to see plugin active in new created sites, please make network reactivate after update to 1.5.3 ), fix for update setting and roles, caption shortcode fix and etc.
Album gallery has now more option for tune the results. All parameters included in the readme.txt file in new version changelog section.
Update: Picasa change the URL rules and now
- original image moved to prefix /s0
- without prefix you can find 512 pixels limited image
You can use the workaround and set ‘Large image size’ to /s0 ( limit by any direction and 0 in the pixels input ) or set you preferred size. Next version will have /s0 as link for big image.

I have just installed the recent update and really like how it now works with 3.5 and Lightbox Plus.
I am using PagesLines Lite theme and for some reason it is only giving me 1 column when I select the gallery option. I have tried to add Custom Code in CSS Rules without any luck.
Is this a theme problem, a WP problem or a plugin problem?
It would be great to have an option for columns being as we can insert thumbnails.
All the other galleries work fine with my self hosted images.

First of all I’m new on wordpress but I have some problems on Picasa Express x2 since I’ve installed WP version 3.5. The error is when I want to upload and insert a photo: “Error: Can not insert image(s) due wrong envirionment
Check script media-upload.js in the parent/editor window”.

I’m enjoying the plugin but it has a serious flaw.
My article titles and headers are being restyled by the CSS from the WP-Picassa plugin. The selectors in the plugin’s style rules are much too broad, and so they affect even elements that have nothing to do with the plugin.
I had this relayed to me by a support guy and I don’t know how to fix it. Could you whip up some style rules for custom.css in order to resolve this?

Check css rules for the album and images. I just put the html code, but final view is controlled only by css.

I’d like some advice on how to embed a gallery with picasa express 2
Right now I have all the pictures from an album showing in a post. When you click on them a gallery appears, using jQuery Lightbox.
I’d like to save space in the post and have the gallery embedded in the post so that the user is presented with a gallery slideshow and not 12 or 15 pictures per post.

Try to add parameters in the shortcode limit=1 hide_rest=1
I can’t test Ligthbox now but thу parameters should include but hide all images except first. So gallery will be with all images, but user see only first picture by page load.

Hello, inserting limit=1 hide_rest=1 works as it only shows the first picture. If you click on the picture jQuery Lightbox takes over and presents the slideshow.
What would be even better is if the slideshow could be embedded in the page itself. So instead of having only the first picture shown, the pictures would rotate.

I was hoping for an answer to my former question. The plugin worked before I updated wordpress and the plugin. Now when I click the small icon it says Please wait and it stays like that. Username is correct and there is a page where I already inserted an album when it still worked and this page still works. I just can’t seem to use the plugin again. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin. I tried 15 other plugins but none of them seems to do what this one used to do, which is chosing just one image from a gallery and insert it in a post or page. So I really liked the plugin but I would like to have it working:-)

Since the new version installed (yesterday) i am having troubles connecting to picasa gallery in page editing. Normally it comes up quite fast with the thumbnails. Now it takes an eternity and even after 5 minutes northing happened, it only seems to be busy making contact.
I didn’t change any settings. Using the latest wordpress version.

In first, Picasa change the URL rules and now original image has url prefix /s0 :

This change will be implemented in the next version, but workaround available.
In second, you can set the rule in the settings ‘Large image size’. /s720 will be limit by any direction with 720 pixels. You can control the form by string under controls.
